Privacy and Data Protection Policy

For Leetbi, the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data of its members, partners, or individual clients are of utmost importance. The use of data will always be carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated April 27, 2016), concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

This Privacy Policy and Protection of Personal Data aims to inform you about how your personal data is used, how it can be updated, managed, or deleted, as well as how to get in touch with those responsible for handling this data. The website address of Leetbi is: https://www.leetbi.com

1. Purpose of Personal Data Colleted by Leetbi

Despite the risks associated with data circulation, such as unauthorized access, improper appropriation, misuse, loss, and alteration, Leetbi has internal measures in place to mitigate these risks, without prejudice to the fallibility of Internet security measures or other tools employed by Leetbi.

The following data protection measures are highlighted:

– Storage on a protected server, used and accessed exclusively in accordance with internally defined security policies and standards;

– Data encryption and security of the applications that process them;

– Restricted and limited access to personal data, in line with the needs arising from Leetbi’s activities;

– Authentication tools in the software used.

Personal data will be retained only for the period considered necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or, upon request from the data subject, the period from which they will be deleted.

In cases where there is a legal requirement regarding the retention period of data, the right to erasure can only be exercised after the expiration of that period.

2.Form of Protection of Personal Data

Apesar dos riscos que a circulação de dados acarreta, como o acesso não autorizado, a apropriação indevida, a má utilização, a perda e a alteração, a Leetbi dispõe internamente de medidas que permitem contornar esses riscos, sem prejuízo da falibilidade das medidas de segurança da Internet ou de outras ferramentas pela Leetbi.

Destacam-se as seguintes medidas de protecção de dados:

– Armazenamento em servidor protegido, utilizado e acedido exclusivamente de acordo com as políticas e padrões de segurança definidos internamente;
– Encriptação de dados e segurança das aplicações que os processam;
– Acesso restrito e limitado aos dados pessoais, de acordo com as necessidades decorrentes da actividade da Leetbi;
– Ferramentas de autenticação nos softwares utilizados.

Os dados pessoais são conservados somente durante o período em que forem considerados necessários no âmbito da finalidade para a qual os mesmos foram recolhidos ou, mediante solicitação do respectivo titular, período a partir do qual serão eliminados.

Nos casos em que existe uma imposição legal, relativa ao prazo de conservação de dados, só pode ser exercido o direito ao apagamento, terminado esse prazo.

3.Rights of the Personal Data Subject

The data subject may request access, rectification, or deletion of their data, as well as restriction or portability to other entities from Leetbi. This request should be sent to the email address: info@leetbi.com. However, whenever there is a legal data retention period, Leetbi reserves the right not to comply with the request, informing the data subject of the reasons.
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint or report to the Control Authority in Portugal, the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).

4. Transfer of Personal data to Third Parties

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and with the prior consent of the data subjects, Leetbi may transfer data to third parties in accordance with the provisions of Article 4(10) of the GDPR, to fulfill legal, regulatory, pre-contractual, or contractual obligations, including public authorities responsible for control and auditing tasks and/or partners in activities, projects, or services.
Data from the Members’ Reserved Area are not shared with other entities. The site administrators can view and edit the information in the Members’ Reserved Area, as the access password is generated by the association itself. If a member changes the assigned password, it will be encrypted in the back office, becoming known only to the Member.

5. Analytics Information Collected Through Other Technical Means

Leetbi uses Google Analytics to monitor and collect statistical information regarding the general use of the Leetbi Website, including demographic and geographic information, information about the type of browsers and operating systems used, behaviors on the Website, and dates and times of website access.
The data used for this purpose does not contain personally identifiable information or private information. Any personal data that could individually identify a user in relation to Website usage is not stored.

6. Data Controller

Leetbi is responsible for the collection, processing, storage, and/or deletion of personal data from its members, partners, or individual clients. Any questions regarding the use of personal data should be addressed to the email address info@leetbi.com.

In fulfilling its responsibilities and in accordance with the terms and deadlines provided in Article 33 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Leetbi will notify the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) whenever it becomes aware of any data breach event, as defined in Article 4(12) of the GDPR.

Leetbi commits to:

– Treat data lawfully and fairly, collecting only the relevant and necessary information for the intended purpose;

– Not use the collected data for purposes incompatible with the collection;

– Ensure, whenever required, obtaining explicit consent from the data subject;

– Allow access and modification of personal information by the data subject;

– Grant the right to free deletion of used data upon the data subject’s request;

– Respect professional secrecy regarding the processed information;

– Keep data accurate and update it when necessary;

– Ensure security systems preventing unauthorized consultation, modification, destruction, or addition of data by unauthorized persons;

– Not transfer personal information collected online or offline through sale, loan, or any other type of commercialization, except as provided for in Clause 4 “Transfer of personal data to third parties,” unless the data subject requests not to share such data.

7. Final Provisions

This document is available in an accessible area on the Leetbi Website. Leetbi may, without prior notice, change this Policy due to the need for adaptation to possible legislative changes or CNPD recommendations.
